Pick a distance. Start running.
TapRun builds routes of the length you want to run from where you stand and guides you back to the start. No account, no feed, no public heatmap.
From your front door to the route.
Pick a distance
3, 5, 8, 10 or 15 km, or a length of your own. That is all the input it needs.
Choose a route
TapRun suggests several routes. You see the length and the shape and pick the one that suits you.
Start running
Voice-guided navigation takes you along the route and back to the start. Even without signal, if you loaded the map beforehand.
What TapRun does.
A few features that fit together. Anything that does not help you run a good route stays out.
Loops to measure
You set the length, TapRun finds routes of about that length that end where you started.
Several suggestions
Instead of a single route you get a choice and decide for yourself.
Preferences, not filters
You can prefer quieter paths, flat terrain or firm surfaces. That steers the selection but guarantees nothing.
Navigation with voice prompts
Turn prompts by voice and on the map. If you stray from the route, TapRun notices.
Works offline
Download the map and route before the run. In the forest you do not need signal.
Light and dark
Built for backlight at 6 a.m. and for 9 p.m. In German and English.
A running partner who says little.
TapRun is deliberately the opposite of a running platform. There is nothing to compare yourself with, nothing to share and nothing to fill in.

Your location exists to build the route.
We process only what TapRun needs for routes, map and navigation. Specifically:
No user account
Install the app and run. There is no sign-up and no profile.
Our own servers in Finland
Routing and maps come from servers that e12.media operates itself, hosted at Hetzner in the EU.
History stays on your device
TapRun stores your runs and settings locally, not in a cloud.
No advertising profiles
We use location data neither for advertising nor for interest profiles, and we do not sell personal data.
One-handed, backlit, in the dark.
Large touch targets, high contrast and a dark mode that is designed in its own right, not derived. The route is the brightest thing on the map.
