TapRun does one thing: it finds you a route of the length you want to run and takes you out and back safely.
Finding a route
Loops for your chosen distance
Pick a preset length or enter your own. From your location TapRun looks for routes of about that length that end where you started.
Several suggestions per search
You get a choice and see the actual length of each suggestion. You decide which one to run.
Preferences
You can prefer quieter paths away from residential areas, flat routes or firm surfaces. These are preferences for the search, not promises: if nothing matches, TapRun offers the next best route.
Elevation profile
Before you start you see how the route is distributed over its climbs.
Running
Navigation with voice prompts
Turn prompts by voice and on the map, in good time and with the distance to the next turn.
Detects deviations
If you run past a turn, TapRun notices and tells you.
Location only during the run
The app needs background location only while a navigation is running.
Out of signal
Download the map in advance
When you start, TapRun loads the map area for your route in both themes onto the device.
Last good state stays usable
If the server is unreachable, the app keeps working with the last fully downloaded state.
Using it
Light, dark or system
Both modes are designed in their own right, with high contrast for backlight and darkness.
German and English
Interface and voice prompts are available in both languages.
